Even though your child may already have an IEP through special education, response-to-intervention (RTI), an LBLD program, or private tutoring, academic progress evaluations are ideal in order to determine whether the current intervention is working for your child. With an assessment of your child’s current academic skills and sub-skills, compared results to previous assessments and available progress monitoring data, you will understand progress to date, as well as specific feedback on the effectiveness of recent interventions.
